October is Breast Cancer Month and you will see our team members wearing our blue t-shirts to raise awareness about breast cancer. We will also be Pink For a Day on 28 October when we will be running a free session on how to do self-breast checks-we will keep you posted on this as we will need you to RSVP for this. In the meantime, please come and see us for breast checks, referral to mammography, or just to have a chat about your breast cancer risk. Early detection is the key to dealing with this disease that kills so many New Zealanders each year. Men get breast cancer too, so men, please come and see us if you have any concerns.
